iPLC

As we prepared to launch the fourth cohort of iPLC, we listened to our alumni.  The result?  We will now be offering two options for iPLC participants: iPLC and iPLC Genius.

iPLC will continue to provide a forum for intentional collaboration among teachers around how to best utilize emergent technologies.  In this option, we are seeking individuals who may be pretty technologically savvy, but are interested in developing a better understanding of how to integrate technology for legitimate improvements in their students’ experiences. iPLC will meet monthly from 4:30-6:30pm on the following dates (attendance is required):
September 27 / October 24 / November 29 / January 31 /February 28 / March 28 /April 25 / May 2.

iPLC Genius

As we prepared to launch the fourth cohort of iPLC, we listened to our iPLC alumni.  The result?  We will now be offering two options for iPLC participants: iPLC and iPLC Genius.

iPLC Genius will provide a new opportunity for highly tech-literate individuals to develop their ability to serve their school community as leaders in instructional technology integration.  Specifically, we are seeking applicants who are considered to have a high-level of technical expertise and who are interested in learning how to share their expertise with others.  This option has been strategically designed to leverage the technical acumen from a group of top instructional technology experts in Hamilton County to identify and create instructional technology development strategies for teachers throughout the district. iPLC Genius will meet monthly from 5:00-6:30pm beginning September 15.

Applications are open to K-12 Hamilton County public school educators and are due by August 30.
