We know the impact great public schools have on communities. Great public schools lead to successful students who grow into successful adults. Great public schools drive economic development. Great public schools are the underpinning of a successful community.

Improving public schools is hard work. The hard part isn’t the “why” but the “how”. It’s slow going. Sometimes the issues can seem overwhelming. PEF has worked for almost 25 years to make sure that an investment through PEF is an investment in long-term student success.

We collaborate every day with the teachers and leaders in the school system, with other non-profits, with universities, with business leaders, and with national experts to make sure we are implementing the very best strategies to help improve student achievement. PEF is stronger because of these partnerships. And we are stronger because of our donors.
