Leadership Initiative

Leadership is a team activity.

This is one of the greatest lessons of Hamilton County's recent school progress: a principal cannot transform a school single-handedly. Transformation requires a team of people who share a vision and take leadership roles to make that vision come true.

PEF's Leadership Initiative provides many different types of training and resources to help principals and other school leaders understand effective leadership - from offering constructive criticism to leading productive meetings.

Leadership Elements

Principals, assistant principals, school leaders and teachers benefit from a series of workshops, retreats, in-school observation and training, study groups and mentoring hosted and paid for by PEF. Elements of the initiative include:
