  • This rate of college enrollment is higher than the national average.  The US Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that, nationally, 68.6% of high school graduates from the class of 2008 were enrolled in colleges or universities.
  • From 2004 to 2009, the number of Hamilton County graduates enrolling in college increased from 1313 to 1522 - a 16% increase.  See a chart of this data.

  • College advisors in every high school have done much to increase the number of students enrolling in college by counseling students on how to navigate the application and enrollment process.
