Establishing and strengthening partnerships are the primary functions of PEF’s vice president for external relations. We are looking for an extraordinary individual who is gifted at building relationships and is completely committed to the critical importance of public education.

Technology Programs Associate

The Technology Programs Associate works under the direction of the Vice President of Learning and is responsible for the following:

  • Support and help develop a vision of technology integration to support innovative teaching and learning in our schools
  • Serve as program manager for the 1:1 Technology Pilot in local K‐12 schools
    Support design and development of digital literacy curricula
  • Work with teachers, schools, and informal educators to implement digital literacy strategies and curricula through the 1:1 Technology Pilot and Dev Dev
  • Lead professional learning opportunities for teachers and informal educators
  • Build and maintains partnerships within the community to support technology integration
  • Work with the Innovation and Technology Programs Manager to develop communications and strategies for informing stakeholders and the community on the key role technology plays in a 21st century education
  • Serves as a liaison between the 1:1 schools and the HCDE IT department, which includes the facilitation of technology roll‐out and support
