  • 73% of Hamilton County public school graduates enroll in college.
  • This rate of college enrollment is significantly higher than the national average.  The US Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that, nationally, 65.8% of high school graduates from the class of 2006 were enrolled in colleges or universities.
  • From 2004 to 2007, the number of Hamilton County graduates enrolling in college increased from 1313 to 1534 - a 17% increase.
  • Graduates of the Hamilton County class of 2007 enrolled in colleges and universities in 31 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, St. Kitts, the West Indies, and Japan.
  • College advisors in every high school have done much to increase the number of students enrolling in college by counseling students on how to navigate the application and enrollment process.
